Different Palms for Different Parties

When booking at The Palms of Destin Resort & Conference Center, there are over 100 condos to choose from in a variety of floor plans. For the inside scoop on The Palms, here’s a breakdown of the different types of vacation rentals and how they can fit your needs.
The Palms of Destin Resort is comprised of two twelve-story towers. When looking at the resort from above (facing the beach), tower one is on the right and tower two is on the left. Even-numbered condos are on the outside of both towers. The odd-numbered condos are on the inside. Pro Tip: The odd numbered condos have a prime view of the lagoon pool!
Peer from the balcony of an even numbered condo in tower one and you’ll spy east Destin toward Henderson Beach. From an even numbered condo in tower two, you’ll see the view of west Destin toward Okaloosa Island. The very best views at the Palms of Destin can be seen from the condos that end in 15, 16, or 17 on floors 7 and above. Check out the view from Palms 11217 (tower one, twelfth floor).
Throughout both towers, vacation rentals are available in the following floor plans.
Junior Suites
Floor Plan A | 2 Bedroom | 2 Bathrooms | Sleeps up to 6
970 enclosed sq. ft. | 105 balcony sq. ft. | 1075 total sq. ft.
Condos ending in 3 through 14 are the junior two-bedroom suites. In addition to the standard living room, kitchen, and balcony, there’s a master suite with a king bed and a private master bathroom. There’s also a junior bedroom perfect for children with a twin bed, a twin trundle, and a private bathroom. Planning a big event? There are just over 70 junior two-bedroom suites available that can accommodate as many as 400 people!
Two-Bedroom Condos
Floor Plan B | 2 Bedroom | 2 Bathrooms | Sleeps up to 6
1175 enclosed sq. ft. | 265 balcony sq. ft. | 1440 total sq. ft.
These are condos that end in 1 or 2 that overlook the city or bay. Included with the standard living area, dining area, and fully equipped kitchen are two bedrooms with full or larger sized beds. Not to mention they have two balconies and more square footage than the next two-bedroom floor plan.
Floor Plan C | 2 Bedroom | 2 Bathrooms | Sleeps up to 6
1150 enclosed sq. ft. | 195 balcony sq. ft. | 1345 total sq. ft.
Condos ending in 15 or 16 are categorized under the C floor plan. Though smaller than the previous type of two bedrooms, they have wonderful views of the pool and even peeks of the beach. They also include the standard living area, dining area, private balcony, and fully equipped kitchen along with two full (or larger) bedrooms and respective bathrooms.
Three-Bedroom Condos
Floor Plan D | 3 Bedroom | 2 Bathrooms | Sleeps up to 8
1445 enclosed sq. ft. | 335 balcony sq. ft. | 1780 total sq. ft.
The condos that end in 17 are the condos with the most bedrooms with a total of three full (or larger) bedrooms. While not every Floor Plan D has the same number or sized beds, they all accommodate larger groups. Plus, they have some astounding views of the pool and nearby beach.
Two-Bedroom Poolside Villas
Floor Plan E | 2 Bedroom | 2 Bathrooms | Sleeps up to 6
1390 enclosed sq. ft. | 410 balcony sq. ft. | 1800 total sq. ft.
The most distinct condo option at The Palms are the two-bedroom poolside villas. These are the 3000 numbered vacation rentals. All are ground level. You’ll have pool access just by walking out your front door. The villas have two full bedrooms in addition to the standard property features of a Palms rental. They’re also the most spacious rental option.
